JeffBet acquires UKGC, Malta licenses, launches in Europe

By Ralph Trayfalgar, Updated:

JeffBet, a mobile casino and sportsbook operator, has obtained licenses from the UK Gambling Commission as well as the Malta Gaming Authority, as detailed in a company statement.

The new licenses will allow JeffBet to launch in Malta and the United Kingdom. The casino is currently operated by ProgressPlay Limited, which also currently runs sites including Supa Casino, Slots Deck, Dazzle Casino, and Maxiplay casino.

JeffBet currently offers live casino games and sports betting services to customers in the United Kingdom, the latter of which covers sports like football, basketball, cricket, table tennis, rugby, ice hockey, and others.

The casino also provides a comprehensive assortment of classic casino games, including video slots, progressive jackpots, and table games from a variety of providers, including NetEnt, Play'n GO, Iron Dog Studios, Eyecon, and others.

"We are thrilled to see the site go live after so much hard work,” said a spokesperson from JeffBet, “and we truly feel that there is a gap in the market to challenge the large brands and turn this into a show of force."

“With many sportsbooks and casinos getting acquired in recent years, there are only a couple of big, standalone brands left in the UK market and this is where we feel that we can make a push and offer our target customers value and quality above anything else.”
