Euro Slots Review UK

By Betty Cherotich, Updated:

Euro Slots was created in 2012 and specialises in cheese. It doesn’t actually. In fact it’s all about European casino slots believe it or not. In partnership with Netent and Microgaming Quickfire, Euro Slots is owned and administered by Play Cherry Ltd. Fully licenced by the Malta Gaming Authority, the self-proclaimed premier choice for ‘serious’ gamers piqued our interest. So we decided to look more closely, to see what kind of operation Euro Slots is running. In terms of site design, the Euro Slots website comprises a narrow layout set against a muddled background featuring an observatory dome (?), an old casino of unknown location and a stone statue of a casino slot machine.

Euro Slots Bonus and Promotions

The Euro Slots welcome bonus, which features at the top of each page and in a promo slider, offers players 5 free spins and 100 Euros ‘in bonus money.’ A look at the T&Cs reveals what first appears to be an attractive 25x wagering rule for the above welcome offer. However, the wheels begin to come off to certain degree when it transpires that these requirements also apply to deposits. So gamers have to play though the bonus money and the deposit before they’re able to get their hands on the loot. Not great.
To bolster its seemingly competitive welcome bonus, Euro Slots includes a Monday to Friday ‘lunch buffet’ that features 20 free spins on the following games:

Valid from Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 13:59, players need to deposit at least £10 before getting their free spins. However, the play-through rules are raised to 40 for this particular promotion and are subject to 40x wagering requirements for both the bonus and any winnings accrued from it. Not an uncommon tactic, but certainly an unwelcome one.

To entice players on weekends, Euro Slots also include their Night Owl promo which runs from 22:00 to 02:00, Friday to Saturday. This particular bonus offers 25% of up to 25 Euros across 10 deposits. Unfortunately, the wagering rules are hiked up even further to 50 for this one.

Like most casinos, at least those with any foresight, Euro Slots is quite keen on player retention, especially after first registration. This is illustrated by their ‘20 No Deposit Free Spins’ which offers 5 free spins each on Starburst, Football: Champions Cup, Piggy Riches and Monkey King. However, these apply for just 24 hours and are subject to 50x play through rules (PTR). Still, we finally have an offer that doesn’t cost players anything.

Then there’s the ‘Spin until you Win’ promotion. Gamers depositing 20 Euros can play the new video slot, Vikings Go Berzerk, for free. Only valid for first deposits, this too is subject to 50x PTR. So what initially appeared to be an excellent bonus suite is compromised by every-increasing wagering requirements. So while there’s plenty to keep players occupied, the PTR’s are spiteful.

Euro Slots Games

The games on Euro Slots, of which there are many, are organised into ‘popular’, ‘new’, ‘jackpot’ and ‘all’. They’re also arranged according to variance which is an unusual but extremely useful addition for players with a limited budget. There’s also a decent range of table games such as roulette and blackjack which can be found in the ‘other games’ section. The game thumbnails themselves vary in shape, offering a quirky variation on the hum-drum lobby layout found on most online casinos. Gameplay takes place in a no-frills, embedded I-Frame with free play available for all titles.

Euro Slots Video Slots

As you’d expect from a casino specialising in slots, there are plenty of big-name titles to choose from. These include games such as Aloha: Cluster Pays, Jungle Spirit and Boom Brothers. A jackpot section is also available, albeit without much variety. However, a good number of progressives are also included in the lobby such as the ever-popular games, Mega Fortune, Arabian Nights and Mega Moolah.

Live Dealer Games

The Euro Slots live dealer suite, which is buried in the ‘other games’ section, features a small number of table games including Netent’s blackjack and roulette. While the range of live games might not be enough for seasoned players, it should be fine for casual punters. All are streamed in HD.

Euro Slots App and Mobile

The mobile version of Euro Slots pretty much apes the desktop website, save for the horizontal menu which becomes scrollable. The games load and operate perfectly although they require landscape mode in order to be played (not sure why). Euro Slots also rendered well on larger screen resolutions and we didn’t encounter any issues.

VIP Scheme

Euro Slots has no VIP scheme to speak of so we’ll move on to the customer support.

Customer Support

A resoundingly thorough FAQ section is included on the main menu for typical questions about the casino. Topics include deposits, withdrawals, age restrictions, rules and gaming licensing. Sadly, Euro Slots aren’t anywhere near as resoundingly thorough when it comes to direct contact because they only supply a single email – even then you have to register. So it’s fair to say that their customer support is resoundingly ordinary.

Euro Slots Review Summary

The people over at Euro Slots seem rather keen to inform visitors at almost every opportunity that they’re all about the ‘serious gamer’. Now presumably, they don’t mean gamblers with perpetually long faces. No, they’re actually referring to the type of player who deposits large sums of money with the metronomic consistency of an atomic clock – namely the high-roller. The clue is the welcome package and its wagering rules which is clearly unintended for players with limited budgets. Aside from this, as well as the scarcity of contact options, EuroSlots is actually alright. There’s a wide range of casino slots available from plenty of big-name providers and even a small live dealer section. The website also works well on smaller devices. As far as online casinos go, you could do a lot worse. Just be mindful of the tiered wagering rules.
